Since September, 1987, Missionary Jesse Garza and his family have been laboring in a balanced fulfillment of our Lord’s great commission in Guadalajara, Jalisco.  Guadalajara is only second to Mexico City with an approximate population of ten million people.

Our Lord has used Missionary Garza to plant and organize the Fundamental Baptist Church of Guadalajara and the Fundamental Baptist Church of La Capilla.  Both churches have in turn started mission stations with the goal of organizing them into churches.  It is the Garzas prayer to organize a third church by the end of 2001.

The church in Guadalajara has started a Bible Institute to train nationals to serve the Lord as pastors, missionaries, and “help meets” for them.  The institute offers a three year full time program as well as an evening program.  An extension has been started in the church of La Capilla.

We are praying much to start a Christian elementary school in September 2001.
